Men's Tennis Beats Ferrum on the Road

Box Score FERRUM, V.A. - The William Peace University Men's Tennis team secured their first team win of the season on the road against Ferrum on Saturday afternoon with a score of 4-3.

The Pacers put together a competitive showing in singles, securing three key victories. Patrick Buckler, (4-6, 7-5, TB) Chapman Kinlaw (6-1, 6-1), and Carlos Correa (6-0, 6-3) all secured singles wins.

In doubles play, the Pacers swept the board. The team of Juliann Starland and Chapman Kinlaw forsaw a victory with a score of 6-4. Patrick Buckler and Carlos Correa beat their opponents with a score of 6-3. Finally, Angel Arazia and Ivan Ponce gave the Pacers their final doubles victory with a score of 6-3.

The Pacers look to continue this momentum in their next match on Tuesday, March 18th as they begin USA South conference play taking on NC Wesleyan.
