RALEIGH, N.C. - The Pacers kicked off their 2025-2026 season with a home contest against Bridgewater College for day one of the Peace Classic. The game featured 10 ties and nine lead changes, but Bridgewater edged out Peace in a 76-70 road victory.
Bridgewater big man Mason Ramsey led the Eagles in scoring with an efficient 22 points, missing just one of his 10 shot attempts. The Eagles held a 43-36 lead at halftime despite shooting only 3-of-12 from beyond the arc.
The Eagles' aggressive defense forced 14 Peace turnovers while committing just four of their own, converting those into 19 points off turnovers. Bridgewater guard Jahmir Brown logged 37 minutes and added 20 points.
A strong second-half push from the Pacers was led by sophomore guard Elijah Green, whose tough shot-making resulted in a 23-point performance on 8-of-14 shooting. Parker Hodgson led the way on the glass with a career-high 14 rebounds.
The Pacers will look to get in the win column tomorrow when they face Johnson & Wales (NC) at 4 p.m. in Day 2 of the Peace Classic.
