FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — William Peace women's volleyball battled through four sets on the road Saturday afternoon, but ultimately fell to Methodist, 3-1 (25-15, 21-25, 25-15, 25-18).
After a slow start in the opening frame, the Pacers found their rhythm in set two, led by an attack from Aaliyah Anderson, who posted a team-high 14 kills while hitting .310, and Aubrey Chesson, who added 12 kills. Maegan Brylski directed the offense with 34 assists, 12 digs, and a service ace.
Peace carried momentum into the third and fourth sets but couldn't sustain it against a strong Methodist offense that hit .316 on the day. Sarah Yates contributed 7 kills, while Savannah Hairr recorded 17 digs in the back row.
The Pacers move to 7–10 overall, looking to bounce back next week as they continue conference action.
