The Pacers, with 15 returnees and seven newcomers, are seeking their third straight winning season under third-year Head Coach Becky Scroger. They were selected fifth in the USA South preseason poll this week.

William Peace boasts a veteran cast that features forwards Kayla Johnson, Emma Avery and Mia Rumachik, midfielder Dayna Kenworthy and defenders Emma Mayer and Jerri Hanson. Both Johnson and Avery were all-conference picks last season, and Avery made the all-region team.

Both teams meet for the first time since 2015, when the game ended in a 2-2 tie in Swannanoa, N.C. The Pacers are searching for their first win over Warren Wilson after going 0-3-1 in the last four matchups. The Owls are coming off a winless season in 2023.
