Women's Lacrosse Team, Five Players Nab IWLCA National Academic Honors

RALEIGH, N.C. – The William Peace women's lacrosse team was recognized for its academic acumen by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) this week.

The Pacers were named to the 2023-24 IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for posting a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher. In addition to the team award, five student-athletes - Samantha Autry, Keslee Hylton, Alexis Inman, Mary Langer and Morgan May – made the Division III Academic Honor Roll for recording a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. All five student-athletes majored in biology.

Overall, the IWLCA honored 325 schools and 1,125 lacrosse student-athletes from 201 institutions. The Pacers were one of two teams from the USA South to make the Honor Squad. They were among six conference teams to place student-athletes on the Honor Roll.
