Pacers Fall To Greensboro In Women's Lacrosse Season Finale

GREENSBORO, N.C. – William Peace completed its women's lacrosse regular season with a 12-8 loss to Greensboro on Saturday.

The Pacers ended the regular season tied with Huntingdon and Greensboro at 2-7 in the USA South Conference but missed a bid to the conference tournament on a tiebreaker. The top eight teams in the 10-team league advance to the conference tourney, which begins April 30.

Morgan May and Keslee Hylton both scored two goals for the Pacers, who led 8-7 early in the fourth quarter against Greensboro. The Pride scored five consecutive goals in the quarter for the win.

Samantha Autry and Joelle Cerneka each added a goal and an assist for William Peace. Both Alexis Inman and Mary Langer each contributed a goal and Aryal Brandon totaled nine saves.
