Pacers Advance To USA South Tourney Despite Men's Tennis Loss On Senior Day

RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace fell 9-0 to Pfeiffer in men's tennis action at Lions Park on Saturday.

Before the match, WPU players Ben Fleming, Sam Jones and Donolique Tyrell were honored along with three WPU women's tennis players in a pre-match Senior Day ceremony.

Despite the loss in the regular-season finale, the Pacers will advance to the USA South Tournament which begins next week. The Pacers, seeded 6th, will visit No. 3 seed Methodist in a first-round match on Wednesday, April 24, at 2 p.m. in Fayetteville, N.C.

The Pacers will compete in the conference tournament for the second time in program history and the second consecutive year. The WPU tennis program joined the USA South Conference in 2016.
