Four Pacers Earn CSC Academic All-District Men's Basketball Honors

RALEIGH, N.C. – Four William Peace student-athletes were named to the NCAA Division III Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team by the College Sports Communicators on Tuesday. They were Beau Bryant, Malachi Borders, Tyler Parton and Donolique Tyrell.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher. They must have played in at least 90 percent of the team's competition throughout the season, which is a new athletic eligibility standard this year.

The College Sports Communicators was founded in 1957 and is a 4,100+ member national association for strategic, creative and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. The current name of the organization was adopted following a membership-wide vote on Aug. 31, 2022.
