Ayers Collects Six RBIs At Huntingdon Softball Invitational

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Logan Ayers of William Peace recorded six RBIs and scored four runs this past weekend (Feb. 24-25) in the Huntingdon Softball Invitational.

Ayers batted .538 on 7-for-13 hitting in four games. She had two doubles, a triple, one walk and one stolen base. On defense, Ayers totaled nine assists and one error at shortstop.

The Pacers' senior was 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs, three runs scored and one stolen base in a 13-9 loss to Huntingdon on Saturday. She batted 2-for-2 with a triple, one RBI, one run scored and one walk in the 11-3 Huntingdon loss on Sunday.

Third baseman Adanya Day batted .400 (4 of 10) with three doubles, one RBI and two runs scored. She was 3-for-3 at the plate with two doubles and one run scored in a 9-1 loss to Mount St. Joseph on Saturday.

Reagan Stewart batted 2-for-4 with a double, two walks and one run scored in a 7-4 loss to Mount Saint Joseph on Sunday. Cierra Lear was 2-for-4 with one RBI and one stolen base in the game.

The Pacers will take a week off before hosting Guilford in a doubleheader on Sunday, March 3. The first pitch is at 12 p.m.
