KINGSPORT, Tenn. – William Peace captured three women's events and broke four school records in the Independent South Conference Swimming Championships at the Kingsport Aquatic Center this past weekend.
Alexis Inman won two individual titles to spark the Pacers. She was victorious in the 100 Breaststroke and 200 Breaststroke. Her winning time of 1:12.05 set a 100 Breaststroke school record.
Inman teamed up with Sophia Swenson, Cora Rebert and Sam Autry to win the 200 Freestyle Relay in a school record time of 1:44.55.
The 200 Medley Relay Team of Alesia Brack, Inman, Autry and Swenson finished third in a school record time of 2:00.57. The same four swimmers set a school record in the 400 Freestyle Relay, finishing third in 3:54.22.
Overall, the Pacers finished third in the championship meet with 331 points. Piedmont placed first with 564 points followed by Southern Virginia with 533 points. Warren Wilson was fourth with 134 points and Salem placed fifth with 65 points.
