Volleyball Hosts Brevard In Two Matches This Weekend Starting Friday

RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace will conclude its volleyball regular season with two matches against Brevard this weekend.

The Pacers will host Brevard on back-to-back days. The first match takes place Friday, Nov. 8, at 5 p.m. inside the Hermann Athletic Center. Both teams return to the court on Saturday for a 12 p.m. tilt as part of a volleyball/women's basketball doubleheader.

Saturday's match is designated as Senior Day. Nine seniors – Jordan Juanes, Vivian Camplin, Alyssa Poteat, Ashley Wyrick, Georgia Grace Anderson, Madeline Simpson, Olivia Eldridge, Chassie Jacops and Ciara O'Conney – will be honored at the match.

William Peace and Brevard (15-11 overall) enter the weekend tied for sixth in the USA South standings at 7-9. Regardless of what happens this weekend, both teams will qualify for the conference tournament, which begins Nov. 12 with first-round matches.

The Pacers (15-15 overall) are led by the Juanes, Anderson, Maegan Brylski and Jordyn Chinigo. Juanes ranks seventh in kills per set (2.97) and points per set (3.36) in the USA South.

Anderson ranks seventh in the conference in hitting percentage (.318) and Chinigo ranks sixth in total blocks (63). Brylski is third in assists per set (8.87) and first in service aces per set (0.59).
