TIME UPDATE: William Peace To Host NCAA Tourney Send-Off For Men's Soccer Team Thursday

RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace will host a send-off Thursday for the men's soccer team, which is headed to Fredericksburg, Va., to play in the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time in the program's 11-year history. The bus will depart from campus on Delway Street near the campus softball field at 2:30 p.m. The public is invited to wish the Pacers luck before they leave for the NCAA Tournament.

The Pacers will take on host Mary Washington in a first-round game on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m. They gained an automatic bid after winning their first-ever USA South championship over Brevard 2-1 in overtime last Saturday. The men's soccer team is the second in school history in any sport to reach the NCAA Tournament.
