Volleyball Hosts Salem, Eastern Mennonite In Tri-Match Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace will host its second volleyball tri-match this season when Salem and Eastern Mennonite come to the Hermann Athletic Center on Saturday, Nov. 2. Admission is free for the tri-match with the first match starting at 12 p.m.

Below is the tri-match schedule:

12 p.m. – William Peace vs. Salem

2 p.m. – Salem vs. Eastern Mennonite

4 p.m. – William Peace vs. Eastern Mennonite

William Peace and Salem get things rolling with a USA South conference matchup to start the tripleheader. The Pacers (6-8 USA South, 13-14 overall) are sixth in the USA South and the Spirits (13-2 USA South, 24-4 overall) are atop the conference standings. Both teams played each other earlier in the season with Salem winning 3-1 on Oct. 5.

The next two matches are non-conference affairs involving Eastern Mennonite, an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) member. The Royals (8-14 overall) are 12^th in the 13-team ODAC.

For the Pacers, Jordan Juanes ranks sixth in kills per set (3.15) and seventh in points per set (3.54) in the USA South. Georgia Grace Anderson (.300) and Jordyn Chinigo (.250) are seventh and ninth, respectively, in hitting percentage.

Maegan Brylski ranks first in service aces per set (0.63) and third in assists per set (8.91). Chinigo is eighth in blocks per set (0.56) and Vivian Camplin is 10^th in digs per set (3.43).
