Men's Soccer Ties Pfeiffer 1-1

CARY, N.C. – William Peace played Pfeiffer to a 1-1 tie in a USA South men's soccer contest at WakeMed Soccer Park on Tuesday night.

The Pacers are now 0-2-1 in the USA South and 3-5-3 overall. Pfeiffer's record is 0-2-1 in the conference and 3-5-3 overall.

Trailing 1-0 at halftime, William Peace knotted the game on Jorge Lemus' goal with less than 16 minutes remaining. Lemus scored his team-high fifth goal this season on an assist from Nathan Cochran.

William Peace outshot Pfeiffer 9-7 and both teams tied in corner kicks 4-4. There were 33 combined fouls in the physical contest.

Goalkeeper Rafa Quevodo-Antunez totaled three saves for the Pacers.
