Jordan Juanes Goes Up For Attack In First Meeting Against Meredith

RALEIGH, N.C. – The rematch between crosstown volleyball rivals William Peace and Meredith will take place Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Weatherspoon Athletic Center. The match will begin at 7 p.m.

Both teams met three weeks ago at William Peace, and it was a thriller. The Pacers fell to the Avenging Angels in five sets (25-22, 22-25, 9-25, 25-14, 15-12) at the Hermann Athletic Center. The loss snapped William Peace's six-match win streak.

The Pacers will be looking to avenge the defeat. They are currently 4-2 in the USA South and 11-7 overall. Meredith is 4-3 in the conference and 9-6 overall.

Jordan Juanes paces William Peace offensively, averaging 3.09 kills and 3.50 points per set. She ranks fifth in the USA South in both categories.

Georgia Grace Anderson (.316) and Jordyn Chinigo (.249) are fifth and ninth, respectively, in hitting percentage in the conference. Maegan Brylski ranks second in assists per set (9.17) and first in service aces per set (0.74).

Defensively, Vivian Camplin ranks seventh in digs per set (3.84).

William Peace will be aiming to break a two-match losing skid against Meredith. Overall, the Pacers are 3-2 in the last five matches against their rivals.
