Men's Soccer Hosts Pfeiffer Tuesday

RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace will host Pfeiffer in a USA South men's soccer game Tuesday at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. Admission is free to the contest, which begins at 7 p.m.

Both teams are seeking their first conference win. The Pacers are 0-2-0 in the USA South and 3-5-2 overall while the Falcons are 0-2-0 and 3-4-2.

The Pacers are led by Jorge Lemus, the program's career scoring leader. Lemus leads the Pacers in goals (4), assists (2) and points (10) this season. Gavin Beaupre and Ausar Omwenga have each scored two goals.

William Peace is looking to snap a two-game losing skid, including a 2-1 league loss at Mary Baldwin on Saturday. Pfeiffer is coming off a 2-0 non-conference home win over Shaw last Friday. The victory ended a three-game losing streak.

The Falcons won last year's game 1-0 at home but the Pacers won in 2021 on the road and 2022 at home. William Peace leads the season series 4-1-1 since 2018.
