Men's Golf Competes In Chick-fil-A Invitational

ROME, Ga. – William Peace competed in the Chick-fil-A Invitational men's golf tournament on Oct. 21-22. The tournament featured four teams in the clippd Division III national poll.

The Pacers finished 20^th out of 24 teams with a 53-over par 629 on the 72 par, 6,809-yard Stonebridge Golf Course. William Peace shot a 22-over par 310 on day one and a 31-over par 319 on the second day.

Ian Williams and Jack Batts were the Pacers' top golfers. Williams tied for 30^th out of 128 golfers with a seven-over par 151. Williams shot a one-under par 71 the first day and an eight-over par 80 the second day.

Jack Batts tied for 76^th with a 13-over par 157. He fired a four-over par 76 on Monday and a nine-over par 81 on Tuesday.
