Volleyball Hosts Southern Virginia, Averett in Tri-Match Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace will host Southern Virginia and Averett in a volleyball tri-match at the Hermann Athletic Center on Saturday. Admission is free to all three matches.

The Pacers open the tri-match against Southern Virginia in a USA South Conference tilt at 11 a.m. Southern Virginia will take on Averett at 1 p.m. and the Pacers will play Averett in a non-conference match at 3 p.m.

William Peace (4-3 USA South, 11-8 overall) is led by outside hitters Jordan Juanes, Sarah Yates and Chassie Jacops and setter Maegan Brylski on offense. Pacers' libero Vivian Camplin, along with Juanes, Brylski, Jacobs and middle blockers Jordyn Chinigo and Georgia Grace Anderson are among the top defenders.

The Pacers are 1-3 in their last four matches versus Southern Virginia since 2022. Southern Virginia (7-1 USA South, 10-9 overall) is tied for first in USA South standings.

The Pacers have won the last four matchups against Averett since 2021. Averett enters the tri-match at 9-11 overall.
