RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University Men's soccer team posted a 1-1 draw with the undefeated #14 Christopher Newport Captains.
THE BASICS

KEY POINTS
- The first half would remain scoreless with both Ayden Miller and Captains' keeper Hayden Dewey posting big saves. Jose Martinez would also block a few of the Captains' shots to send it into halftime at 0-0.
- The Captains would be awarded a PK at the 50 minute mark, and Mason Field would put it away for a 1-0 lead.
- The Pacers would get on the board at 73:37 as they were awarded their own PK, which would be taken by Brennan Lagana to tie the game.Â
- Both teams would have good chances in the remaining minutes, but the game would end with a 1-1 draw.
