HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cougars would get on the board twenty minutes in as Daniel Starr would get a breakaway goal to put them up 1-0.
Tripp Kidd would make a few strong saves in net to keep the Cougars at bay.
Junior Roque would tie it up for the Pacers off a corner kick from
Ethan Gillette to put the score at 1-1 before the half.
The second half would be a back-and-forth contest, with both goalies putting up good stops.
Josiah Caronna would break the stalemate at 71:07 to give the Pacers a 2-1 lead. The Cougars would score on a late opportunity with just 30 seconds remaining to tie it 2-2 and force the game to end in a draw.
