KEY POINTS
- The Battling Bishops would take an early 2-0 lead in the first period while holding the Pacers off the scoresheet. They would go up 3-0 early in the 2nd before a goal from Samantha Autry would put the Pacers on the board as they trailed 3-1.
- NCWU would have a big 2nd period following Autry's goal, notching 6 straight to take a 9-1 lead heading into the half.
- Keslee Hylton would tally early in the 3rd period, assisted by Mary Langer, to cut the score to 9-2. NCWU would respond to go up 10-2, but this would be the last goal that the Pacers would allow. Autry would tally late in the 3rd for a 10-3 score, with Hylton adding another to bring it to 10-4.
- In the final period, Elise Langer, assisted by Autry, would cut the lead to 10-5. Hylton would complete her hat trick, assisted by Autry, for a 10-6 game. The Pacers were unable to rally further and would fall 10-6.
