RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University men's lacrosse fell 14-8 to Piedmont University.

KEY POINTS
- The Lions would take an early 1-0 lead in the 1st before a goal from Devin Noonan, assisted by William Murray, would even the score 1-1. Piedmont would go on a strong run to score four goals in a row and lead 5-1. A man-up goal from Riely Murray, assisted by Drew Von Werne, would send the game into the 2nd with a score of 5-2.
- Piedmont would tally early in the 2nd on the man-up, before man-up goals from Brewer Warlick and Devin Noonan would put the score at 6-4. The Lions would take an 8-4 lead heading into the half with late goals.
- Brewer Warlick and William Murray would cut the lead to 8-6 early in the 3rd before a rally from Piedmont would see them scoring 3 in a row for an 11-6 advantage. Jahmari Smith would help cut the score to 11-7, but the Lions would add another for an 11-7 edge heading into the 4th.
- Devin Noonan would add his 3rd goal to complete the hat trick early in the 4th for a 12-8 score. The Lions would hold the Pacers, tallying two more goals to help them take a 14-8 win.
