Men's Basketball Finishes Record-Breaking Season In Conference Final

ROCKY MOUNT, NC -- William Peace University men's basketball fell 80-61 in the USA South Conference Championship to N.C. Wesleyan University. The Pacers finished with an 18-9 overall record, recording a program record for most wins in a season. Their appearance in the Conference Championship also marks the program's first championship appearance.

  • The Pacers would take an early 7-2 lead with a 3-pointer from Timothy Pettiford and a layup plus a few free throws from Beau Bryant. NCWU would tie it 9-9 before taking a 12-11 lead.
