HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pacers would take an early 7-4 lead in the first half with a layup from Beau Bryant. A strong run from NCWU would put them ahead 15-11 before a shot from behind the arc from Michael Dulin and a layup from Tyler Parton would regain a 16-15 lead for the Pacers. The Battling Bishops would rally to lead 22-18, but a 3-pointer from Malachi Borders would put the Pacers ahead 28-24. A layup from Dulin would increase the Pacer lead to 31-28, but a good late stop from NCWU would send them into halftime with a 33-31 lead.
- A strong start from NCWU would increase their lead 43-37 early in the second half. A few layups from a free throw from Timothy Pettiford would cut the NCWU lead to 47-45 before they would go on a run to lead 56-47. A jumper and a shot from behind the arc from Borders as well as a jumper from Pettiford would close the gap to 59-56. Dulin would cut the NCWU lead further with a shot from behind the arc bringing the score to 63-61. A few free throws would give NCWU a late 71-61. Late 3's from Parton and Borders would cut the lead, but the Pacers would fall 73-67 to NCWU.
