Pacers Drop Regular Season Finale

RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace University Volleyball team fell to Brevard College Friday, November 3rd. The Pacers traveled to Boshamer Gymnasium for their last regular season conference game. The Pacers fell short against the Tornadoes as they lost 1-3. The Pacers finished the season in a tie for 3rd place in the conference. Based on tiebreakers, they will be the #4 seed in the upcoming USA South Athletic Conference Tournament.

  • The Pacers came up short in the first and second set ast they lost 23-25 & 20-25. 

  • The Pacers battled for redemption in the third set as they beat the Tornadoes 26-24. However, in the fourth set the Pacers came up short as the Tornadoes took the victory beating the Pacers in the fourth 25-13.

  • Kaitlyn Pressley collected 19 kills, while Makenna Parkins, and Ashley Hoxit both collected 13 kills against the Pacers. 

  • Bailey Lance tallied 3 aces on the day. 

  • Kaitlyn Pressley and Logan Priddy both totaled 25 assists for the Tornadoes. 

  • Bailey Lance collected 26 digs against the Pacers.

The Pacers #4 will host Salem College #5 on Tuesday, November 7th in Raleigh, NC for the Quarterfinals of the conference tournament at the Hermann Athletic Center. First serve is set for 7p.
