RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace University Women's Soccer team lost to Brevard College in a conference match-up Saturday, October 28th in Cary, NC at WakeMed Soccer Park. The Pacers lost to the Tornados 1-4 on Saturday as they honored the programs two seniors, Courtney Arnold and Shaelyn Webb, on Senior Day. However, the Pacers' very own Emma Avery set a new program record for single season scoring with a total of 14 goals on the season thus far. This program record was previously held by Raine Greene and Kyra Delaney.

• At 3.50 Grace Black scored the first goal of the game for the Tornadoes. 

• Emma Avery scored the first and only goal for the Pacers at 16.25.

• Nicole Arroyo scored the second goal for the Tornadoes at 34.55.

• Tae Brown would score the fourth and last goal against the Pacers at 89.32.

The Pacers will now prepare for the conference tournament as they finished their regular season play today against Brevard College. The Pacers finished fifth overall in the USA South conference standings and will face Greensboro College on the road on October 31st at 6:30p.
