RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace University Women's Soccer team's season came to a close to Greensboro College Tuesday, October 31st in Greensboro, NC in the quarterfinals of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament. Greensboro was the higher seed as they ranked #4 in the conference and the Pacers ranked #5 in the regular season standings. The Pacers took a 2-1 lead into halftime but a tough 2nd half saw the Pride score four goals and the Pacers came up short losing 3-5. This is the 2nd straight season the Pacers have lost to the Pride in the Quarterfinals.

• Records: William Peace 8-7-3 (4-3-2 USAS), Greensboro 10-5-4 (5-2-2 USAS)

KEY POINTS

• The Pacers would get on the board first at 3.40 from a goal from Mia Rumachik who was assisted by Courtney Arnold.

• At 6.36 Amery Skinner would score a goal for the Pride to get them on the board. Skinner was assisted by Svea Eckstrand.

• Emma Avery scored the second goal for the Pacers at 20.13

• Amery Skinner would score another goal against the Pacers at 63.18. She was assisted by Cassidy Olszewski. 

• At 71.58 Julia Howland would score the third goal for the Pride. 

• Ella Ramsey would score the fourth goal against the Pacers at 78.31. 

• Julia Howland would score the fifth goal for the Pride to seal the conference win. 

• Finally, Dayna Kenworthy would score the third and final goal for the Pacers during today's game. Kenworthy was assisted by Shaelyn Webb.

PACER TOP PERFORMERS

• Emma Avery, Mia Rumachik, and Dayna Kenworthy all scored one goal for the Pacers in today's match-up. 

• Courtney Arnold and Shaelyn Webb both tallied one assist against the Pride. 

• Gaby Vazquez would play 90 minutes for the Pacers and would total 6 saves against the Pride. 

FOR THE FOES

• Amery Skinner would score two goals against the Pacers. 

• Julie Howland would also score two goals for the Pride.
