RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace University Women's Soccer team's season came to a close to Greensboro College Tuesday, October 31st in Greensboro, NC in the quarterfinals of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament. Greensboro was the higher seed as they ranked #4 in the conference and the Pacers ranked #5 in the regular season standings. The Pacers took a 2-1 lead into halftime but a tough 2nd half saw the Pride score four goals and the Pacers came up short losing 3-5. This is the 2nd straight season the Pacers have lost to the Pride in the Quarterfinals.
