RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace University Men's Soccer team defeated Mary Baldwin University in a conference matchup Tuesday October 24th in Cary, NC at Wake Med Soccer Park. The Pacers remained undefeated all time against the Fighting Squirrels (5-0). The conference win moved the Pacers into the 3rd place in the conference standings with one game remaining for all teams.

KEY POINTS

• At 16.29  Abdul Qurneh scored the first goal for the Pacers and was assisted by  Jorge Lemus.

•  Jorge Lemus scored the second goal for the Pacers at 38.03.

• At 42.23 Anthony Ramirez would score the third goal against the Fighting Squirrels to put the Pacers in a more comfortable position. 

• Josh Eatmon tallied the fourth goal for the Pacers at 84.40 which would notch the win for the Pacers. 

PACER TOP PERFORMERS

• Ayden Miller played 45 minutes and tallied one save for the Pacers. 

• Jorge Lemus,  Abdul Qurneh, Josh Eatmon and Anthony Ramirez all scored one goal against the Fighting Squirrels. 

• Jorge Lemus, and Kale Heitman both collected one assist. 

FOR THE FOES

• Preston Bentley played 90 minutes as the goal keeper and tallied 12 saves. 

• Brandon Murphy played 90 minutes. 

NEXT GAME

The Pacers will host Brevard College in Cary, NC for Senior Day at WakeMed Soccer Park Saturday, October 28th at 3:00PM for a conference match-up. This will be the last regular season game for the Pacers.
