RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University Volleyball had a conference match-up against Southern Virginia University Saturday, October 21st in Buena Vista, VA. The Pacers fought hard against the Knights but fell short as they lost 2-3.

KEY POINTS

• The Pacers took the first set against the Knights as they won 25-21. 

• During the second set the Knights fought back taking set two. After this the Pacers and Knight battled back and forth until the fifth set. 

• The Pacers lost the second set 23-25, won the third 25-17, lost the fourth 19-25 and lost the fifth 12-15.  

PACER TOP PERFORMERS

• Hannah Collier  tallied 16 kills, Georgia Grace Anderson tallied 12 and Kelsey Bierbauer tallied 8. 

• Maegan Brylski collected 22 assists and  Audrey Spindle  collected 19 assists. 

• Jordan Juanes totaled 5 aces, while Maegan Brylski totaled 2 aces against the Knights. 

• Hannah Collier  and Georgia Grace Anderson posted 2 blocks and Landis Limon posted 1 block for the Pacers. 

• Logan Moore collected 33 digs, while Jordan Juanes collected 20 digs on the day. 

FOR THE FOES

• Sydney Bassett tallied 18 kills, Brenna Clyde tallied 10 and Brookelyn Madland tallied 7 kills on the day. 

• Sydney Bassett collected 4 aces for the Knights. 

• Jessica Ensley posted 31 digs and Sarah Hoofman posted 22 for the Knights.
