RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace University Volleyball team was swept Tuesday night by conference foe Methodist University in an important match for conference seeding inside Hermann Athletic Center.

• Record: William Peace 11-9 (9-3 USAS), Methodist 14-6 (9-4 USAS)

KEY POINTS

• The Pacers fell to the Monarchs in the first set 21-25 and the second set 17-25. The Pacers battled hard in set 3, eventually taking a 23-22 lead, but came up short 23-25. 

• The Pacers tallied 11 blocks in the match against the Falcons. 

• Maegan Brylski tallied 20 assists, while Landis Limon tallied 7 kills.

PACER TOP PERFORMERS

• Hannah Collier collected 7 kills and Georgia Grace Anderson collected 6 kills against the Falcons. 

• Maegan Brylski and  Georgia Grace Anderson both tallied 2 aces on the day. 

• Logan Moore posted 13 digs, while Jordan Juanes also posted 11 digs against the Monarchs.

• Landis Limon tallied 6 blocks, and Chassie Jacops notched 3 blocks.

FOR THE FOES

• Jeanana Fowler tallied 16 kills, while Jamie Holton tallied 15 kills. 

• Hannah Hewett collected 42 assists on the day. 

• Blake O'Brien totaled 17 digs for the Monarchs.

The Pacers will host Averett University in Raleigh, NC in a non-conference matchup at the Hermann Athletic Center Thursday, October 19th at 7pm.
