RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University men's soccer battled back from a 2-0 deficit to draw with Bridgewater 2-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Eagles would test keeper Tripp Kidd early with several consecutive opportunities, but he would shut them down to keep the game scoreless. At 17:04, Vik Thomas would find Cole Dunbar to put the Eagles up 1-0. The Pacers would have several good chances but would head into halftime trailing 1-0.
Charles Schwinefuss would make several good stops on the Pacers early in the second half, while a goal from Marvin Perez would put Bridgewater up 2-0. Less than a minute later, Jorge Aguilar would serve it in to find Jorge Lemus, who would cut the Bridgewater lead to 2-1. Four minutes later, Abdul Qurneh would score his first collegiate goal, assisted by TJ Hurd, to tie the game 2-2 late. Neither team would be able to break the stalemate and the game would end in a 2-2 draw.
