GREENSBORO, NC -- William Peace University volleyball swept Guilford College 3-0 to stay unbeaten early in the season, securing a 5-0 record.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set One (25-21)
The Quakers would take an early 6-3 lead before a few kills from Kelsey Bierbauer and Landis Limon would tie it 6-6. Guilford would go on an impressive 9-point run to lead 16-7, but kills from Landis Limon and Hannah Collier would put the Pacers back within 3 as they trailed 18-15. A huge 8-point streak with kills from Mackenzie Russell, Kelsey Bierbauer, Georgia Grace Anderson, and Shelby Cooper would put the Pacers up 24-20, with a final kill from Bierbauer securing the set 25-21.
Set Two (25-18)
The Pacers would take a strong 7-3 lead in set two with kills from Landis Limon and a service ace from Logan Moore. A few service aces from Hannah Ward along with kills from Hannah Collier would create a 6-point run for a 16-8 lead. A kill from Georgia Grace Anderson would put WPU up 22-12. The Quakers would battle back to bring the score to 24-18, but a final kill from Landis Limon would win the set 25-18 and give the Pacers a 2-0 lead in the match.
Set Three (25-9)
The Pacers would dominate the final set, taking a 4-0 lead with kills from Shelby Cooper and a block from Landis Limon. A huge 8-point run with kills from Shelby Cooper, Kelsey Bierbauer, and Georgia Grace Anderson along with several aces from Logan Moore would bring the score to 17-3. Final kills from Cooper and Jordan Juanes would end the set 25-9 and the game 3-0.
