HOW IT HAPPENED
Kyra Delaney would get the Pacers on the board early, assisted by
Gabrielle Jones, to put the team up 1-0 at 4:45. After a few good saves from keeper Serenity Turnbull, Delaney would find the back of the net again at 21:40, assisted by
Shaelyn Webb, for a score of 2-0. The Pacers would get a few more chances but the game would head into halftime with a score of 2-0.
In the second half, the Pacers would continue to pressure the Shock, but the Shock would cut the Pacer lead to 2-1. Delaney would add her third of the game at 68:06 to put the Pacers up 3-1, assisted by
Baylee Womack.
Rachel Alford would increase the Pacer lead to 4-1 at 80:28, while a penalty kick goal from
Dayna Kenworthy would secure a 5-1 Pacer win.
