Women's Soccer To Begin Regular Season By Hosting JWU

RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University women's soccer is ready to begin the regular season as they host Johnson & Wales University of Charlotte on September 1st at 7PM. In the 2021 season, the Pacers went 4-7-3 overall and 2-5-2 in the conference, including the first win over rival Meredith College in program history.

Historically, the Pacers are 2-2 against the Wildcats, most recently coming away with a 2-0 win last September. Returners Rachel Alford and Lillian Bates each tallied a goal in that game, with Courtney Arnold and Raine Greene picking up the assists.

The Wildcats went 7-8-2 in 2021, finishing second in Pool A of the USCAA.
