Men's Lacrosse Falls To Piedmont

Demorest, GA - William Peace University men's lacrosse fell to Piedmont University by a score of 12-5. 

THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions would get on the board early in the 1st period to lead 1-0 on a goal from Jacob Walker. Nick Falso would respond to tie the game 1-1. Avery Jenks would put the Lions back up 2-1, but a goal from Brewer Warlick, assisted by Falso, would tie it 2-2. 

The Lions would notch 4 consecutive goals in the second to take a 6-2 lead. Brewer Warlick would cut the deficit to 6-3, assisted by William Murray, with the game heading into halftime with a score of 6-3.

In the third, the Lions would notch 5 in a row, holding the Pacers off the scoreboard to take a 10-3 lead.  They would add another early in the 4th to lead 12-3. William Murray would find the back of the net a minute later to cut the lead to 12-3, while a goal from Devin Noonan would bring the score to 12-5.

  • Jacob Walker and Michael Anderson each notched 3 goals for the Pride.
