MISENHEIMER, NC -- William Peace University softball fell in game one of the USA South Conference tournament to Huntingdon College by a score of 4-0. The Pacers will continue with the tournament tomorrow at 12PM with a matchup against Pfeiffer University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hawks would hold the Pacers off in the first two innings before taking a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 2nd on a sacrifice bunt. In the bottom of the third, a single would put the Hawks up 2-0, while another single would give them a 3-0 lead. An error would put Huntingdon up 4-0. The Pacers would have a few good hits, but they would be unable to rally and would fall 4-0.

PACER TOP PERFORMERS

• Megan McAnany went 3 for 3 at the plate.

FOR THE FOES

• Natalie Ritchey went 2 for 3 at the plate.
