MISENHEIMER, NC -- William Peace University softball fell in game two of the USA South Conference Tournament to Pfeiffer University by a score of 14-4. This concludes the postseason for the team as they finish 24-15 overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons would take an early 3-0 lead at the top of the first after a homerun. A double in at the top of the 2nd would put them ahead 4-0, while a single at the top of the third would bring the score to 5-0. A sacrifice fly at the top of the fourth would put the Falcons up 6-0, while a wild pitch would bring the score to 7-0. The Pacers would get on the board in the bottom of the 4th with a double from Logan Ayers to bring in two runs and cut the lead to 7-2.  A single from Anna Suggs would put the score at 7-3, while a double from Reanna Braswell would cut the Falcon's lead to 7-4. Two homeruns at the top of the 5th would give the Falcons a 9-4 advantage, while a few hits at the top of the 6th would help them secure a 14-4 win over the Pacers.
