Second Half Sends SVU Over Pacers

BUENA VISTA, VA -- William Peace University women's basketball fell to a tough Southern Virginia University team by a score of 73-56. The game would be tied 29-29 at halftime, but a strong second half would give the Knights the win.

  • The Knights would go on an early run to lead 46-31 in the third. A jumper from Ninevah Reddick would cut the lead to 55-38, but the Knights would head into the 4th leading 57-41.
  • A layup from Myla Barnes would cut the Knights' lead to 66-47 as the Pacers continued to battle. The Knights would go on a late run, with the Pacers unable to recover despite good effort, giving SVU a 73-56 win.
