HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers would go on a strong run to start the first half with a 13-2 lead. A jumper from Timothy Pettiford and a layup from Michael Dulin would put the Pacers on the board as they trailed 16-6. 3-pointers from Dulin and Malachi Borders would cut the Panthers' lead down to 19-18, though another run would put them up 28-18. Layups from Beau Bryant and Donolique Tyrell would bring the score to 34-24, but a few free throws would send the Panthers into halftime leading 36-24.
- In the second half, a 3-pointer followed by a dunk from Pettiford would bring the score to 38-31. A few free throws and a layup from Tyler Parton would cut the Panthers' lead to 45-42, with a 3-pointer from Beau Bryant putting the Pacers within one as they trailed 46-45. A few fouls would give the Panthers a 59-50 lead before a few free throws from Shawn Jones would cut the lead to 64-54. Bryant would add a shot from behind the arc and Dulin would add a late layup, but the Pacers would fall 74-68.
