HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars got out to a strong 11-0 start in the first half. The Pacers would put up a few good stops with jumpers from Malachi Borders and Beau Bryant, and a layup from Michael Dulin, to cut the lead to 14-10. The Cougars would go on a run to lead 21-10. A layup from Tyler Parton and a 3-pointer from Beau Bryant would cut the Cougars' lead to 29-18. A shot from behind the arc from Timothy Pettiford would put the score at 33-27 as the Pacers battled. Pettiford would add a free throw as the Pacers headed into halftime trailing 37-30.
- The Cougars would go on a run to start the second half, taking a 49-30 lead. Jason Sellars would be strong for the Cougars to put them ahead 55-34. The Cougars would go on another run to lead 69-40. A three-pointer from Tyler Parton would bring the score to 71-46, though the Cougars would go on another run to lead 77-46 and take a 81-49 win.
