HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pacers would dominate the possession early and would be rewarded at 9:06 as
Ramiro Vera would find
Josh Rutland, who would float one in to put the Pacers up 1-0.
Tripp Kidd would make several good stops for the Pacers to shut down the Pride early.
Jorge Aguilar would catch
Alfonso Turcios on a breakaway at 39:56, with Turcios finding the back of the net to put the team up 2-0 before halftime.
In the second half,
Jorge Lemus would put the team up 3-0 at 54:03 as he eluded the Pride defense. Kidd would make a few more excellent saves for the Pacers before
Danny Alvarez would put the Pacers up 4-0, assisted by
Rush Campbell. Lemus would add his second of the game at 80:44 to bring the score to 5-0, and the Pacers would shut down the Pride to take the win.
