HOW IT HAPPENED
Kyra Delaney would get the Pacers up 1-0 just two minutes into the game, with an assist from
Lillie Maness, to get the Pacers some early momentum. Both keepers would make a few good saves in the first half, but
Dayna Kenworthy would increase the Pacer lead to 2-0 at 23:57. Meredith would cut the lead to 2-1 just two minutes later, and the teams would battle back-and-forth for the rest of the half to send the game into halftime with a score of 2-1.
The Pacers would increase the pressure in the second half, with
Gabrielle Jones and
Raine Greene both getting good chances. Neither team would gain any traction until 85:12, when
Gabrielle Jones would find
Rachel Alford, who would tuck it away to put the Pacers up 3-1 and secure their win over the Avenging Angels.
