Men's Soccer Shuts Out SVU 3-0 On Senior Day

RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University men's soccer took down SVU 3-0 as they celebrated 12 seniors on senior day. The win also marked Coach Ryan Huber's 50th win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Neither team would get much going in the first half. Danny Alvarez and Jorge Aguilar would both have good chances, but Spencer Young would shut them down to send the game into halftime scoreless. The Pacers would increase the pressure in the second half, and Davis Kelly would find Danny Alvarez in front, who would put it away to put the team up 1-0 at 56:29. Minutes later, Jorge Lemus would make a move in front to put the Pacers up 2-0, assisted by Jorge Aguilar. At 79:02, a corner taken by Jorge Aguilar would find Jose Martinez-Hernandez, who would head it in to secure the 3-0 Pacer win.
