RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University women's soccer picked up their first conference win with a 2-1 victory over the Falcons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Neither team would get much going in the first half, though the Pacers would control the possession. Both keepers would make solid saves to send the game into halftime scoreless. In the second half,
Victoria Finklea would tap in a cross from
Gabrielle Jones at 48:27 to put the Pacers up 1-0. The Pacers would continue to put shots up, but Pfeiffer would find the back of the net at 69:34 with a goal from Maria Altamirano. Just a few minutes later, a free kick from
Baylee Womack would find
Dayna Kenworthy, who would head it in to put the team up 2-1. The Pacers would continue to put on the pressure and would walk away with a 2-1 win.
