Sam Peddycord throwing a complete game with 10 strikeouts and just 2 hits. In game two, the Pacers would find themselves down 3-2 in the bottom of the 9th before
Nathan Holt would hit a walkoff single with the bases loaded to give WPU a 4-3 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game One
1st through 4th - The first innings of the game would prove to be a battle between pitchers
Sam Peddycord and Brandon Pond, with both keeping the game scoreless. A double by
Hunter Ward in the bottom of the 4th would score
Tyshawn Barrett, while a triple to right center by
Patrick Rogan would bring home Ward to give the Pacers a 2-0 lead.
5th through 9th - Peddycord would continue to be outstanding on the mound for the Pacers, not allowing any hits until the top of the 8th. A sacrifice fly by
Logan Barbour would score
Gavin Taylor to increase the lead to 7-0. The Pacers would get the bases loaded and a single by
Sean Roseborough would bring home
Cole Thompson, while a walk would bring home Alex Seaton to bring the score to 7-0. Peddycord would close out the top of the 9th with two strikeouts to give the Pacers the win.
Game Two
1st through 4th - Lynchburg would break through first in game two, scoring on a single up the middle. The Pacers would add two in the bottom of the 4th, with
Tyshawn Barrett scoring on
Logan Barbour's single and Barbour coming home on a triple by
Tyler Vaughn.
5th through 9th - The Hornets would put up a strong 6th inning, scoring on a sacrifice fly and a single up the middle to lead the Pacers 3-2. The Pacers were unable to get anything going until the bottom of 9th, when they would get the bases loaded.
Nathan Holt would hit a walkoff single to bring home
Logan Barbour and
Tyler Vaughn and clinch a 4-3 win.
