Pride Surges In Second Half To Defeat Pacers

RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University women's basketball fell 86-67 to the Greensboro Pride. The Pride would have a strong first quarter, but the Pacers would battle back to send the game into halftime tied 37-37. A big third quarter would see the Pride outscore the Pacers 30-13, helping them secure the win over WPU.

A few good stops from the Pride would put them ahead 24-16, with a final free throw sending the game into the second quarter with a score of 25-16.
