Pacers Cruise Past Pride and Panthers In First Meet Of Season

Raleigh, NC -- William Peace University men's and women's swimming both took home wins in their first meet of the 2021 season. The Pacers traveled to Greensboro, NC where they took on Greensboro College and Ferrum College, collecting numerous wins in several events.

Head coach John Regan praised his team's effort and enthusiasm, saying, "It was great to have the opportunity to compete again. Our team was excited to get back in the pool and race, and that excited manifested in how we competed today. Freshmen Sophia Swenson and Noah Jimison were standouts, winning all three of their events. We have a lot of work to do and are excited to get back in the pool and start preparing for our home meet on the 7th."
