Raleigh, NC -- The William Peace University men's soccer team (1-1) will head to Greensboro, NC and continue facing off against ODAC competition as they face off against Guilford College (1-1) on Saturday, September 7th. The Pacers are coming off of a tough 2-1 loss to Eastern Mennonite University, while the Quakers recently dropped a match 4-3 to Pfieffer University. The two teams last met two years ago in the 2017 season with the Pacers coming out on top by a score of 1-0.

Sophomore Sammy Suazo, junior Jose Garcia, and freshman  Kofi Appiagyei have each tallied one goal for the Pacers, while sophomore Jorge Aguilar leads the team with two assists. Sophomore goalkeeper Jacob Smith currently leads the team with 5 saves.

For the Quakers, Kyle Broderick and Kenny Nzekwe have both recorded 2 goals, while Ricky Aguilar leads with 4 assists. Goalie Zach Van Kampen recorded 5 saves in the Quakers 3-1 victory over Averett.
