Raleigh, NC -- The William Peace University women's volleyball team will look to continue their 6 game winning streak as they head to Greensboro, NC for the Guilford College Invitational. Game one will see the Pacers match-up against Salem College (3-2) on Friday, September 13th. They will conclude the invitational on Saturday, September 14th with matches against Guilford College and Maryville College.
WPU recently won all three of their games in the Wildcat Invitational in Denver, CO following a victory in the Averett Cougar Classic. Senior Mya Parks currently leads the team with 68 kills and 76 points. Junior Brienna Laskowski just trails her with 58 kills and 67.5 points, while senior Sarah Scott leads the team with 110 assists. Junior Bergin Gillespie leads the Pacers with 105 digs.
For the Spirits, Kathryn O'Connell leads the team with 58.5 points and 45 kills, while Hannah Delcamp has recorded 156 assists. Salem College recently won 3-1 over Brevard College.
