The Basics:

How It Happened:

• Bryan Kowalski put the Falcons ahead 1-0 in the top of the second with a sacrifice fly to center field to score Blake Winebarger.

• The score remained 1-0 until the top of the sixth inning when Hayden McGraw single to center field scored Zach Ferrell to double the Falcons lead.

• The Pacers would cut the Falcon's lead to one in the bottom of the sixth as Tyler Tilson would hit a sac fly to left field to score Easton Payton.

• Pfeiffer would answer right back and extend their lead to 5-1 in the top of the seventh thanks to a three which would be capped of by a 2 RBI double from Ira Dorin.

• In the bottom of the seventh the Pacers would once again cut the Falcon's lead as a groundout from Kyle Lowke and a single to center from Easton Payton would each bring in a run as the Pacers trailed 3-5.

• It would remain a close game headed into the top of the ninth as the Pacers continued to trail 3-5.

• Ira Dorin would again come up big for Pfeiffer as he would single to left field and drive in Winebarger. Hayden McGraw would seal the game for the Falcons with a 2 RBI to left field and give the Falcons a 8-3 lead.

• The Pacers would be held in the bottom of the ninth as they drop the series 2 game to one to Pfeiffer.

Pacer Top Performers:

• Easton Payton finished 2 for 5 at the plate with 1 RBI as well as 2 stolen bases

• Nathan Holt went 1 for 2 while drawing two walks

• Austin Skipper pitched 4 innings with 3 strikeouts while allowing only 1 run

For the Foes:

• Ira Dorin went 2 for 2 at the plate with 2 RBIs

• Hayden McGraw would finish 3 for 6 at the plate with 3 RBIs.

• Matt Moser pitched 5 scoreless innings while only giving up two hits.
